Academic Eligibility

To be academically eligible to participate in a sport offered by Saint Patrick School:

Students must have a 2.0 GPA (C average) or above.

A student who receives an "F" is ineligible for a minimum of two weeks or until the grade has improved to a passing level.

Allied Arts (Computers, Art, Music and P.E.) will each count as .25 of a core class.

The principal will make the determination on who is eligible and who is not. A student may not play in a game until released to do so by the principal.

Ineligible students must practice with their team. Ineligible students will be dressed in street clothes and sit on the bench at each game until they regain their eligibility. They may assist their coach keeping stats, etc. But they may not leave the bench area without their coach’s approval.
